BJF Programs

The BJF vision is to provide the practical information, tools and nurturing environment that children, youth and families need to succeed.

We serve our mission through four core program areas:

Literacy Program

The Brian Jordan Foundation is dedicated and determined to help underprivileged children through literacy awareness.  The goal of the literacy program is to inform children and their parents about the importance of reading and how it can affect the world in which they live.  Brian Jordan, author of children's book "I Told You I Can Play," is passionate about preparing young children for reading and motivating school-age children to read regularly.  BJF will host outreach tours to promote literacy skills and promote a love for reading throughout the year.

Sports Center for Excellence - Brian Jordan is passionate about building the Sports Center for Excellence—a safe haven for underprivileged kids. The Center will provide athletic, educational and psychological counseling services.

Play It 4 Health
Keeping our kids healthy is a top priority for The Brian Jordan Foundation that is why the Play It 4 Health program was created.  Brian Jordan teams up with a local doctor and a children entertainer to educate kids about the necessity of drinking water, exercising and eating healthy daily.  With many school districts across the country cutting out gym class and the number of childhood obesity increasing, the Play It 4 Health program is a fun, energetic way for the kids to get the health message
