The Brian Jordan Foundation is excited to announce our 2021 BJF College scholarship winners. Through generous donations and sponsorships, this year we are able to award 10 deserving students from the Atlanta area and beyond a $5000 scholarship to their chosen university. Also, we were able to award a standout student as the Georgia’s Own Credit Union Scholar, for $6000. These students exemplify the drive and desire, along with academic achievement, of the vision of the foundation. Please join me in welcoming these young people to the Brian Jordan Foundation family.

The Brian Jordan Reading Challenge with Douglas County SchoolsIn 2019, Brian Jordan partnered with the Douglas County School System to build and pilot a reading incentive program across all 20 schools in the district, reaching more than 2000 third grade students with the goal of improving reading proficiency, teaching goal setting, and building a love for books during the crucial 3rd grade year.
The program launched in August and will run through May 2020. |

We are proud to continue our scholars mentoring series with our 4th webinar, “Advanced Financial Literacy, Where should my Money go and Why.”.
Our guest speaker, Chris Campbell, Director/Wealth Management Advisor for Northwestern Mutual, will be speaking to us on continuing to build a solid financial foundation after college. He will cover Investment shelters for your future, 401Ks, IRAs and basic money ‘ Watch-outs”. He’ll also speak to the fundamentals of how money works with interest rates, compound interest and the best way to utilize those accounts available to you. The goal is to better prepare you for the future, as you land that new position or move into the next phase of your career. Christopher Campbell is a Wealth Management Advisor in Atlanta, GA with offices throughout the country servicing clientele nationally. He has over 10 years of experience working with family’s corporations and business owners. Christopher's "why" for working in our noble profession is slightly different than most advisors. He possesses an unyielding desire to impact change and rewrite the manuscript for legacy and wealth in diverse markets through education and empowerment.
A native of Gastonia, N.C., Christopher graduated from Morehouse College in 2006 Cum Laude with a B.A in Economics. He began his professional career building relationships with area specialty physicians as a pharmaceutical consultant. In search of a greater challenge and more rewarding career he transitioned industries and careers to join Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2011.
While there, Christopher spent nearly 5 years working with a team of advisors that provided a highly personalized approach to enhancing and simplifying the financial lives of a select number of clients nationwide.
Currently, Christopher serves a Director/Wealth Management Advisor aligned with Northwestern Mutual Goodwin, Wright. He leads a team of nearly 10 diverse advisors. Most recently, Christopher achieved the distinct honor of being recognized as a Forum Advisor. Forum represents the top 1% of all Northwestern Mutual Advisors throughout the country. In Goodwin, Wright’s storied history dating back to 1885 Christopher is first African American advisor to achieve such milestone.
Christopher’s vision and vigor towards building a diverse enterprise practice of preeminence, excellence, and trust remains at the forefront in all he does.
