The Brian Jordan Foundation is dedicated and determined to help children through literacy awareness. The goal of the literacy program is to inform children and their parents about the importance of reading and how it can affect the world in which they live.

Brian Jordan, author of children's book "I Told You I Can Play," “Overcoming the Fear of the Baseball” and "Time-Out For Bullies" is passionate about preparing young children for reading and motivating school-age children to read regularly.
BJF will host outreach tours to promote literacy skills and promote a love for reading throughout the year.
In 2019, Brian Jordan partnered with the Douglas County School System to build and pilot a reading incentive program across all 20 schools in the district, reaching more than 2000 third grade students with the goal of improving reading proficiency, teaching goal setting, and building a love for books during the crucial 3rd grade year. The program will launch in August 2019 and will run through May 2020. Check back for updates, progress reports and more information on how to pilot this program in your school!
